POSITION SUMMARY:
Supervise and direct all aspects of the community from inception to move-in while co ordinating with your area Construction Manager. Responsible for quality control in construction. Coordinate with the Area Manager and office and maintain accurate written records.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Supervise and direct all aspects of construction both off-sites and on-sites
Responsible for schedules and insures the workmanship of all work by inspecting and approving trade partner’s work
Responsible for safety issues as delegated within assigned communities
Ensure that the work is in compliance with city or county requirements and building codes
Maintain records of all changes on the community, such as change orders
Responsible for inspections and corresponding paperwork
Approve all trade partner invoices with regard to work completion and quality
Maintain daily log of all occurrences on the community
Coordinate with Purchasing Department regarding budgets
Coordinate with the Area Construction Manager regarding plans and specifications
Coordinate with our Customer Service Managers on quality and walk-through preparation of home-sites for move-in
Responsible for the community and inventory homes
Ensure timely house completions and deliveries
Coordinate with Construction Manager on delivery schedule
Coordinate compliance with conditions of maps and conditions of occupancy
Perform all other duties as assigned
EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION AND PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES:
Five (5) years minimum experience in residential home construction
High school diploma or GED required
Valid driver’s license
High degree of construction knowledge and management skills
Basic skills in Microsoft Office
Good writing skills and detail oriented
Awesome interpersonal skills, ability to build and maintain relationships
Accept constructive feedback
Team player with strong work ethic and integrity
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
The ability to operate a motor vehicle, read plans, climbs stairs, climb ladders, bend, stoop, reach, lift, and move and/or carries equipment which may be in excess of 50 pounds. Finger dexterity may be required to operate a computer keyboard and calculator.

POSITION SUMMARY
We are seeking a qualified Assistant Superintendent to join our team. This position will coordinate the activities of new home construction in line with our processes and in Coordination with a Superintendent and/or Area Manager
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Ensures company standards are maintained throughout the construction process.
Assists the Superintendent or Area Manager with the scheduling and coordination of subcontractors.
Coordinates the construction and completion of quality houses within desired time frames and standards set by the Company and the Area Manager.
Maintains inventory in a condition presentable to potential customers and within the acceptable standards of the Company.
Schedules and monitors subcontractors in the construction of houses, primarily after drywall of house.
Informs and trains sub-contractors regarding Company policies and procedures, including safety and OSHA compliance, and SWAPP and ADEQ compliance.
Implements company policies, procedures, principles and completes paperwork required by the Company.
Directs Detail Punch and Laborers as necessary.
Interacts with local municipalities to obtain all required inspections
Conducts the homeowner orientations, expedites completion any repair items within the desired time frames set by the Superintendent/Area Manager and Company.
Analyzes and understands local and national building codes and is able to manage projects within those stated standards.
Analyzes and understands the manufacturers’ recommendations of the use and application of building products and is able to manage the use of the product.
EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION AND PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES:
Education: High School Diploma or GED; 1-2 years relevant experience preferred.
Current Drivers License
1 to 3 years of previous residential construction experience
Journeyman level experience in one or more trades used in the construction industry (i.e., electrician, framer, plumber etc.…) is a plus Attributes
Thorough knowledge of reading and interpreting blueprints preferred.
Basic knowledge of math and geometry required. Must have understanding of the technical aspects of construction.
Excellent organizational skills.
Great at building relationships.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
